I believe we are at a time when technology is catching up with spirituality. Not that this is anything new. We have long attempted to capture images of, and record sounds of, “ghosts”….and there very well have been success in these areas. I also believe, however, we are nearing a tipping point where, as technology mixes with spirituality we are likely to see very big changes in our views of the world. This is where I believe we are approaching end times….and are doing so rapidly due to the quickly advancing technological era.
From the many images of social media, to advancements in AI….we are in uncharted territory. And while we can know from Scripture that God is the same, in the past, now and forever – the reality is that WE are not. We can claim that history repeats itself but in doing so we would be also be saying that our world doesn’t change, and that Jesus is not the beginning and the end of all things. Furthermore, the fact that many think the Bible is nothing more than stories and myths only goes to further prove the truth in Scripture…because there are those who….
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
The most recent book to come across my radar is called the “Illumination of Conscience”. I can’t imagine why we are not looking to the books of Isaiah, Daniel, Joel, and Revelation, to help us discern these events.
These are not necessarily “Catholic prophecies” – because they are Scriptural. So we should be discussing what it is from a Scriptural perspective – and calling it out for what it is, using Scripture. Rather, we seem to prefer to lay claim to this or that, “we said so!”, or “this is ours!”….when the reality is, that is not the case.
ALL credit should be given credit where it is due – and that is to the word of God.
So rather than replacing things in Scripture with our own branding and labeling of such events (and profiting from them, <ahem>). WE MUST be addressing them as they ARE.
The “Illumination of Conscience” – is a mirroring effect. I.e., your own thoughts, emotions, thinking, feelings, privacy, etc….will be mirrored back to you in every day life….and exceedingly quickly through technological advances. What we need to understand, is that this system has been building for decades in our culture/media/television/movies/etc. So it is important not only to see this for what it is, but to not label/brand/sell it! By doing so we are doing exactly that which Romans 1:25 is talking about (serving the creature more than the creator).
This “effect” (for which some are labeling it as a “miracle” of God) is in actuality, Satan’s attempt to mimic the final judgment. We should not label this a “miracle of God”. We should not label it at all. This is a time where darkness needs to be called out into the light and the only way we can do so is through the Sword of the Spirit – which is the word of God.
The “Illumination of Conscience” is in reality the 4th beast of Daniel described in Daniel 7:7:
Daniel 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
So rather than relabeling it as the “Illumination of Conscience”, and then profiting from it, we should be discussing what it truly is.
Daniel 7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
The “nails of brass” can be read in various versions of Scripture. Alternatives include “claws of bronze”.
The interpretation is as such: claws are things with which a “beast” grabs (and traps); the claws which “grab” and “trap” are made of bronze (i.e., they are of mirrors). How does this trap a person? Because the proponents of the system will expose what you do in privacy, in the open. Why is this not a “miracle of God”? Because Daniel tells us about this beast in these terms:
- But I wished to make certain about the fourth beast, so very terrible and different from the others, devouring and crushing with its iron teeth and bronze claws, and trampling with its feet what was left;
- The fourth; beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, different from all the others; It shall devour the whole earth, beat it down, and crush it. (Dn 7:23)
Does that sound like something to look forward to?
I can assure you, it’s not. Sure, you can mirror back to me my conscience but what good does it do to remind me that I was standing in the mirror this morning without a shirt on? Don’t we all do that every day? It does nothing but shame a person (and in that event, you could read further about Moloch, the “shame god”, aka., Baal.)…it has nothing to do with our salvation. And this “system” will ride you….on and on and on….as if every single momentary thought must be “pure”, second by second by second….or else! No salvation for you!
People experiencing this need help from the church. They need to see the truth of it in Scripture to know there is hope and a way out. And because the system feeds off the created things (i.e., books, movies, magazines, etc…) it become very difficult for people dealing with this to be exposed to it. This is where the purity in worship and in the church becomes imperative.
People going through this will be seeking truthful worship services. Not those pampered around human doctrine.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
I don’t view the “Illumination of Conscience” as something to rejoice over. Daniel tells us the 4th beast is a beast which is subject to be destroyed by fire so it is time to start using Scripture as our sword in this fight against what is true and what is not….rather than inflating the (Babylonian) system with more materials (books, movies, etc….) which only serve to distract believers from glorifying His word and also only serve as materials to distract unbelievers from discovering the truth – which is the Word of God.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I had to italicize the word heart….because it is that which God sees and knows. Your conscience, while needing to be cleared, will not do so unless it is within your heart first. The Alan Parson’s project can try to read my mind all they want. They can never truly know the heart and I will certainly not look to them for my salvation.
You can further continue to call me “psycho” or “crazy” all you want because it is then I will remind you…
1 Corinthians 1:18: For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
